About Us
Stop Cyber Hate is a national coalition addressing anti-Cybertruck bias and discrimination across the United States. We track hate, conduct research, and advocate for a world where nobody is judged by the vehicle they drive.
In November 2023, when the first Cybertrucks rolled off the production line and onto American roads, something unexpected happened. Instead of celebrating a bold new era in automotive design, the public responded with unprecedented hostility.
Owners were mocked in parking lots. Videos of strangers laughing at Cybertrucks went viral. Online forums became breeding grounds for coordinated harassment campaigns. The message was clear: if you drove a Cybertruck, you were a target.
Three organizations—the Cybertruck Owners Alliance, the Future Vehicles Foundation, and the Institute for Automotive Equity—came together to form the Stop Cyber Hate coalition. What started as a simple online reporting form has grown into a nationwide movement with millions of supporters.
Today, we operate the nation's largest reporting center for anti-Cybertruck hate, conduct groundbreaking research, and advocate for policies that protect all vehicle owners from discrimination.
“The Cybertruck represents everything that makes innovation possible: bold thinking, refusal to compromise, and the courage to be different. The hatred directed at its owners says far more about society's biases than about the vehicle itself.”— Dr. Angela Morrison, Founding Director
“What started with three people and a website has helped galvanize a nationwide movement—bringing together millions to advocate for the respect that every vehicle owner deserves.”— James Chen, Executive Director
Our Journey
Within days of the first Cybertruck deliveries, reports of mockery, vandalism, and online harassment begin flooding social media. Three organizations unite to create a centralized reporting system.
The coalition launches its website and reporting center. Within the first week, over 500 incidents are reported from 38 states.
We publish our first comprehensive report documenting 2,400 hate incidents, revealing that verbal harassment accounts for 67% of all reported acts.
Stop Cyber Hate presents findings to the Congressional Automotive Equity Caucus, calling for federal protections against vehicle-based discrimination.
Our community education initiative begins training allies to intervene when they witness anti-Cybertruck bias in action.
With data and advocacy from Stop Cyber Hate, bipartisan legislation is introduced to protect vehicle owners from discrimination.
Our reporting center reaches a grim milestone, underscoring the urgent need for continued advocacy and public education.
