These are the voices of Cybertruck owners who have experienced discrimination and harassment. They are our neighbors, our coworkers, our family members. Their experiences demand our attention.
"Leave the Cybertruck ALONE!"

Voices from the Community
“I was pulling into a Whole Foods when a guy literally leaned out of his window and yelled 'Nice fridge on wheels!' I've never felt so dehumanized over a vehicle. I sat in the parking lot for 10 minutes before I could go inside. It's not just a joke to me. It's my truck. It's part of who I am.”
“I posted a photo of my Cybertruck in a Facebook neighborhood group just to share something I was proud of. Within an hour there were 200 comments, 90% of them mocking the design, calling me things I can't repeat here. My neighbor even started a petition to ban 'oversized novelty vehicles' from our street. It was clearly targeted at me. I deleted the post. They won that day. They won't win forever.”
“Someone keyed 'CLOWN CAR' into the passenger side of my Cybertruck. Do you know how stainless steel gets keyed? It leaves permanent white scratches. Thousands of dollars in damage. I filed a police report. They basically laughed at me. I'm not laughing. That was an act of hate, plain and simple.”
“My coworkers have a Slack channel called '#cybertruck-confessionals' where they anonymously post photos of my truck in the parking lot with captions like 'proof that money can't buy taste.' HR told me it 'wasn't covered by workplace harassment policy' because it was about a vehicle, not a person. I'm filing an appeal. My truck IS personal to me.”
“I matched with someone on Hinge and we had a great conversation for a week. Then I shared a photo of my Cybertruck and they immediately unmatched. No message, no explanation. Just gone. I know exactly what happened. People say 'it's just a car' but if it was 'just a car,' why would it be a dealbreaker? It's not the car they're judging. It's me.”
“My daughter came home from school crying because her classmates said our truck 'looks like something a supervillain drives' and they started calling her 'Cyber Girl' as an insult. She's nine. She asked me if we could sell the truck. I told her: we never apologize for who we are, and we never let bullies win. I'm proud of our Cybertruck and she should be too.”
Community Solidarity
Cybertruck owners have faced an endless barrage of internet jokes. Here's how our community has responded — with pride, humor, and resilience.

They call it a toaster. We call it the most aerodynamically tested electric truck ever built. But sure, "toaster." We'll take it.
🗡
"The window test failed!" they cried — for five years. Meanwhile the window is now rated to withstand a sledgehammer. Glow up? We prefer "engineering iteration."

Yes. The future always looks fake to people stuck in the past. The Model T "looked fake" too. So did the iPhone. We're used to being ahead of the curve.

That fridge on wheels will tow 11,000 lbs, go 0-60 in 2.6 seconds, and run on sunlight. Your gas truck wishes it was a fridge on wheels.

Actually, PlayStation was a compliment. Have you seen PS2 graphics? Regardless — the Cybertruck has its own video games. Gran Turismo, anyone?

"Real trucks" also used to not have power steering, seatbelts, or air conditioning. What counts as "real" keeps changing. The Cybertruck is changing it again.
"First they ignore you, then they laugh at you,
then you drive right past them in your Cybertruck."
